We are in the home stretch of our Recreation Center Slide Tower Repair project. To complete the next phase of construction, the slide will be put back together and a sealant and gel coat will be applied to the inside of the slide. In order to accomplish this, the pool must be drained. This closure and draining of the pool will also allow us to install new ceiling tiles and remove the temporary wall leading to the new slide tower.
The entire Leisure Pool area at the Rec Center will be closed to the public starting Monday, April 1. The lap pool will remain open and the Miller Activity Complex will accept Rec Center memberships and passes for the remainder of the closure.
The area will remain closed for approximately three weeks. Following the closure, the new slides must be inspected, tested and licensed by the State before reopening in May.

This program offers a resident discount rate to individuals and families verified to be paying taxes to the Town of Castle Rock. If you just created an account or are registering a dependent you just added to your account, please send or bring in proof of residency as outlined on the State of Colorado Department of Revenue webpage to have your account reviewed to qualify for this discount. If you qualify and your account is updated, resident discounts in any of our offerings, in which the resident discount is offered, will automatically be applied. Account updates may take up to one business day to process. Refunds will not be provided retroactively to registrations made prior to an account update to discount eligibility.
